(FRAME-INFO (STRING " Eyeball, Horizontal Section. Anteriorly, the outer wall of the eye is formed by the pale-staining cornea.  The remaining 5/6 of the eye's surface is formed of three layers that cannot easily be distinguished here \(from outside to inside: sclera, choroid, retina\).  The middle layer is attached to the muscular ciliary body anteriorly.  In front of this is the iris.  The lens is attached by zonular fibers \(suspensory ligaments\) to the ciliary body.  The largest space inside the eye, posterior to the lens, is the vitreous chamber.  The space between the cornea and the iris is the anterior chamber.  It is continuous with the small space between the iris and the lens, the posterior chamber. The anterior and posterior chambers contain aqueous humor.  The optic nerve emerges from the posterior aspect of the eye. Note it is in the subarachnoid space and is surrounded by a dural \(and arachnoid\) sleeve. The dura is continuous with the sclera."))
